Intuitive Painting & Collage with Michelle Crisanti - Monday Nights A 4-Week Creative Exploration Description: Set aside expectations and reconnect with the joy of creating through curiosity, play, and intuition. In this three-week series, you'll explore expressive drawing and collage practices that invite imagination, mindfulness, and creative freedom. No drawing experience is necessary—just a willingness to experiment and discover. Week 1: Patterns in Motion - Release the pressure to make art with a specific outcome. Through intuitive mark-making and repetitive patterns, we'll explore how lines, shapes, and rhythms naturally evolve into flowing structures. Experience the calming, meditative quality of creating without a predetermined purpose. Week 2: Ink Clouds & Imagined Worlds - Using ink, you'll create abstract "cloud" forms and allow your imagination to guide what emerges. With markers and additional drawing tools, you'll discover hidden images, characters, landscapes, and stories within the organic shapes—an exercise in seeing beyond the obvious and trusting your creative instincts. Week 3: Consciousness Through Collage - Expand your creative awareness by combining drawing, painting, collage, and mixed media. Working with a variety of papers, textures, and found elements, you'll create an intuitive composition that reflects your inner landscape. This final session encourages spontaneous expression, personal symbolism, and the joy of letting unexpected connections unfold. Week 4: Finishing Touches and Group Reflection - Whether you're an experienced artist or simply looking for a fresh way to explore creativity, this class offers a welcoming space to slow down, trust your intuition, and discover what emerges when you create from within. All levels are welcome. Students 16 and older are welcome. Mature preteens must attend with an adult who is also registered for the class. Materials and Supplies: All materials and supplies are covered by tuition. Cancelation Policy: If you need to cancel due to any reason, Wildling needs two full weeks before the class start date for you to receive credit towards another class and 4 weeks to receive a full refund. This class is subject to cancellation if signups are below our 4-person minimum. In this case you will be notified at least 3 days before the class is set to begin. Wildling Collaborative Arts is an Artists Collective in Eugene OR founded in 2023. We offer a membership ceramics studio which is the only 24/7 ceramics studio in Eugene. Wildling was found by local Eugene Artists with the intention of creating a community space that is accessible and inclusive. Wildling provides a living wage to all of their employees, giving local artist a dependable salary so they can support their families and the local economy. We host workshops and classes in our large classroom space as well as offer private studios for local small businesses in Eugene. We are active in the Whitaker community and participate in the Whitaker Last Friday Art Walk. Wildling Collaborative Arts is an accessible and inclusive space.
