Out of the Deep Goldwork Jellyfish

This sparkling jellyfish appears to float above inky depths, an illusion heightened by its dramatic profile. Handpainted silk and ribbon provide extraordinary texture set off with iridescent beads, ribbons, and Swarovski crystals. Thread-like tentacles swell gently as if the jellyfish is in the process of expanding. Due to its large size (14"x18") and delicacy, shipping arrangements must be made, with pickup preferred. It is mounted on stretched canvas with picture wire for hanging as-is, or for ease in professional framing. Due to the high profile of the jellyfish's bell, a deep frame is recommended. This iridescent jellyfish won a First Place ribbon at the Big E exposition fair in 2026 under Hand Embroidery.
