In Program mode, the camera selects both shutter speed and aperture with the included MD lens set to its minimum aperture. Aperture Priority lets you choose the aperture while the camera sets the shutter speed. Metered Manual provides control over both settings. The included 50mm f/1.7 is a standard focal-length lens with manual focusing and an aperture ring. The camera accepts Minolta SR-mount manual-focus lenses; MD lenses support all three exposure modes, while MC lenses support Aperture Priority and Manual. The electronic shutter requires battery power.
