The Shift² 10 puts the same convert-in-place alpine/pin toe into a 4–10 DIN range, sized for lighter skiers and intermediates getting into touring. It's the uphill/downhill binding for a one-quiver setup that skis like an alpine binding on the way down and climbs on pins on the way up.Key features Toe converts from alpine toe to pin toe with the lever. Nothing to remove or carry. Power Block AFD: a single-block aluminum insert, micro-adjustable for height. Salomon rates it 30% stiffer laterally than the previous generation. Reinforced XL toe wings and toe lever, with elastic travel to hold the boot through hard hits. Climbing aid is 4 mm taller than the original Shift and switches with a pole tip.
