Kamado Joe Heavy-Duty Grill Cover - Big Joe

The Kamado Joe Heavy-Duty Grill Cover in Big Joe size is the full-length cover for 61 cm Big Joe kamados on their carts, including the Big Joe Konnected Joe. A Big Joe is a lot of grill to leave out in the weather, and this cover goes over the dome, base, hinge and cart in one piece. It's made from 100% solution-dyed polyester. The colour is part of the fibre rather than printed on top, so it holds up to UV rather than fading and going brittle after a few Australian summers. A buckle strap around the base stops it lifting in the wind. On a Big Joe Konnected Joe the cover matters more than on a standard kamado: the Kontrol Board, fan and power connections shouldn't sit out in the rain. What It Does Keeps water out Rain sitting in the firebox, soaking the gasket and charcoal, or rusting the hinge and bands is what ages a kamado. A full-length waterproof cover keeps all of it dry between cooks. Protects the Konnected electronics Kamado Joe says not to expose the Konnected Joe's controller to rain or water. Covering it when it's cold is the easiest way to look after the Kontrol Board and fan. Stays put in the wind The buckle strap cinches the cover around the grill so a gusty afternoon doesn't leave it in the neighbour's yard.
