Following its release of Elvis’s Christmas recordings, Stereo Experience Records presents an impressive collection of The Shadows’ earliest recordings from 1958–1960 in superb-sounding stereo. The album features almost every recording the group released on British records in 1959–1960. These are complemented by radio recordings in pristine sound quality, alongside tracks recorded by future members of The Shadows with The Five Chesternuts and The Vipers before the group was formed. Only six of the recordings included here had previously been available in stereo. Using the latest demixing technology, brand-new stereo mixes have been created for all fourteen tracks previously known only in mono. The result is an entire album presented in crystal-clear, expansive stereo sound. Tracks previously available in stereo, including the legendary Apache, have also been remixed to ensure a consistent sound throughout the collection. Meanwhile, the equally famous Man Of Mystery can be heard for the first time with its original, unedited ending. The only tracks omitted are the live versions of Driftin’ and Jet Black, whose existing mixes were considered definitive and in no need of improvement. Rest assured: this album sounds nothing like the amateur stereo conversions found all over the internet. The sound quality is excellent and fully professional. Just listen to the audio samples. Inside the cover, detailed notes explain the placement of individual instruments in the stereo image, making it easy to compare the original versions with the new mixes. Presented in a standard jewel case. Shipping from October 26. BELOW IS A SHORT VIDEO SHOWCASING THE RELEASE:
