Pear - Waney Edge Boards

Delightful kiln-dried pear waney edge wood boards sourced from a felled tree in Upminster, showcasing the distinctive natural beauty and subtle pastel tones of this highly sought-after hardwood. These character pear wood boards feature multiple knots, ingrown bark and subtle pip, adding plenty of rustic charm. They have some splits, checks and shakes, with attractive spalting along one edge. The mostly straight grains display beautiful pink and tan colour tones, complemented by creamy sapwood. Featuring two waney edges and two working faces, these distinctive pear boards would make a lovely set of waney edge shelves. Please note: Board B has a small rough-sawn section on the bottom right edge. Thicknessed both sides as seen in images. The boards are marked A-C and priced for sale individually. Internet sale only. These boards are not available to browse or purchase in our London shop. The Fallen & Felled mug shown in the photograph is for size indication only. --- Not quite what you are looking for?
