Biamp Community ALC-404D Amplified Loudspeaker Controller

The Biamp ALC four-channel amplified loudspeaker controller delivers 4 x 400 W of power, with integrated DSP processing and Dante connectivity for flexible, high-performance audio systems. Designed for use with Community loudspeakers, it combines amplification, signal routing, zone switching, protective limiting and remote monitoring in one compact unit. Built-in loudspeaker presets provide model-specific equalisation, high-pass filters and multi-stage limiters to help maintain consistent sound quality and protect the loudspeakers. With assignable analogue and Dante inputs, including failover and backup options, the ALC integrates easily into new and existing installations. Its support for 70 V and 100 V distributed systems, low-impedance loudspeakers from 2 ohms and mixed load configurations makes it suitable for a wide range of commercial audio applications. High operating efficiency, reduced heat output and a space-saving rack design also help simplify installation and minimise ongoing system costs.
