Arthur Mug - Set of Six

Six Arthur mugs turn a shelf into something deliberate. The speckled stoneware repeats down the row, each pale flecked body finished with the same toasted brown lip, so a laid table looks considered rather than collected piece by piece. Six covers a full dinner table and the morning after it.Without handles there is nothing to knock or catch when six go round a table, and each person grips the same hollows in the same way. Every mug holds 280ml, and all six take the dishwasher and the microwave, which matters once they are in daily use. Sit them on walnut, or on warm plaster beside linen.
