Knitting for Olive - Compatible Cashmere

Knitting for Olive Compatible Cashmere is an ultra soft and exclusive yarn in 100% Cashmere. Compatible Cashmere can be knitted as a second strand, as an alternative to Soft Silk Mohair. The yarn can be knitted on its own on 3mm needles double stranded and used as an alternative to Knitting for Olive Merinoand Cotton Merino. The Cashmere Wool originates from China and Mongolia and the yarn is produced in Italy. Knitting for Olive's spinning mill follows ethical, technical and environmental standards, creating yarns free from harmful chemicals. The yarn is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified. Please be aware that fibres from Cashmere are shorter than, for example, fibres from Merino, which means that the finished knit requires special care and can "peel". Knitting for Olive recommends the use of a Cashmere Comb or carefully cutting the loose fibres off with a pair of scissors, to maintain your knit in perfect condition.
