Everything that makes the acoustic UT3K a standout carries over: the unique vertical grain of every koa top, the rosewood-bound body with moon-curve purfling, the classic ebony headstock with mother-of-pearl logo, and the spalted maple rosette with moon-phase fretboard inlays. The AIR AIR system - a hybrid piezo and internal microphone with independent volume and mic-level controls in the soundhole - is built in without changing the tone unplugged. Same ebony bridge and fingerboard, buffalo bone nut and saddle, and Gotoh UPT 1:4 tuners as the acoustic UT3K, same aNueNue Black Water strings, same wide tenor projection - just ready to plug straight into a PA.
