Benitoite Crystals in Gem Case

Benitoite is a rare blue barium titanium silicate and the official state gemstone of California. Nearly all of it comes from one small area in San Benito County, California, which is where it gets its name. The crystals are bright blue and glow a strong blue under shortwave UV light, which makes them a favorite with mineral collectors. Good for: intuition, clear communication, collectors, rare mineral displays. You will receive one (1) 20mm gem case with two (2) benitoite crystals inside, similar to those shown. Benitoite crystals rarely grow large, so these are small, collector-size specimens, about 1 to 3mm each. See the photo with the quarter for scale.
