Apple Butter

We slowly cook locally-grown apples over several hours, allowing the apples to soften and lightly caramelize into a rich, spreadable, truly old-school-style fruit butter. Enjoy on toast and biscuits, waffles and pancakes, cheese and crackers; or baste and glaze veggies or meats while cooking; try as an ingredient in baked goods - either as a topping, filling or sweetener.
