This was the tenth wine of the tasting, and my note at the time says everything: “I’m running out of superlatives for how these smell.” Clos des Corvées Pagets makes the step up to Premier Cru unmistakable: more structure, more intent, more depth, but still with the precision and finesse that define these 2022s. 2022 also marks the Domaine’s first vintage raised entirely in ceramic.
