Instead of replacing fragrance on an arbitrary calendar schedule, IntelliTend monitors actual diffuser usage and lets you know when it’s time for a replacement. ScentConnect features UsageSense™ technology, which monitors the actual electrical current consumed by your scent diffuser to determine when its fragrance pump is operating. UsageSense tracks the actual “pump minutes played” and compares them with the expected playtime of the installed fragrance cartridge. Because different fragrance oils diffuse at different rates based on their individual characteristics, IntelliTend uses fragrance-specific playtime data to estimate the percentage of fragrance remaining—giving you a smarter way to know when your cartridge is running low.
