Homo floresiensis LB1 EBU, Flores
A resin PU reproduction of Homo floresiensis, also known as the 'Hobbit,' discovered in 2003 in Liang Bua cave on Flores Island, Indonesia. This small human species lived about 60,000 to 100,000 years ago and made stone tools and hunted small animals.
- This discovery has challenged the view of human evolution by showing that multiple Homo species coexisted in Southeast Asia.
