Mediven Thrombexin 18

Mediven thrombexin 18 compression stockings are used during and after surgery to prevent thrombosis. For a moderate to high risk of thrombosis, this is combined with medication (e.g., heparin) and additional measures such as exercises. Because the pressure exerted by the stocking decreases from the ankle (approximately 18 mmHg) to the thigh (approximately 8 mmHg), the venous return of blood towards the heart is optimally promoted. Mediven thrombexin 18 anti-thrombosis stockings are supplied in pairs.
