Pinot Noir
A mission that found Brian – Pinot Noir grapes on our crush pad is generally someone else’s bounty. Pinot Meunier, the sturdier brother of Pinot Noir has been Vineland’s hero eclipsing the latter. Still, circumstances can dictate surprise outcomes, and as such we present this 2024 vintage. It is a medium bodied, bright and energetic red with strong notes of Bing cherry, wild raspberry and well-worn saddle leather. The tannins are nimbly structured and firm. The wine bristles with a sparky refreshing acidity that makes the vintage completely accessible. A long finish gives a nod to its inner majesty that will emerge with time or a robust decanting.
