Bowers & Wilkins HTM2D Center Channel Speaker
The HTM2 Diamond is the center channel B&W built to match the 800 Series Diamond floorstanders — same driver technology, same cabinet engineering, same design philosophy, oriented horizontally for dialogue reproduction above or below the screen. Diamond dome tweeter: pure carbon, machined to shape, the first breakup mode pushed above 70kHz so the tweeter operates in the audio band without mechanical limitation. 6-inch woven Kevlar midrange in its own dedicated sub-enclosure within the cabinet, isolated from the bass section. Twin 7-inch Rohacell bass drivers flanking the midrange in a symmetrical array that keeps the acoustic center aligned with the tweeter and midrange regardless of listening position. Three-way, vented enclosure. Frequency response 41Hz to 28kHz ±3dB. The -6dB point sits at 35Hz — a center channel that handles full-range content without a subwoofer carrying the load below it. Rosenut finish. The HTM2 Diamond is the speaker that completes a B&W 800 Series home theater — the piece that makes the center channel match the front soundstage rather than approximate it. A 802 Diamond or 803 Diamond system running a mismatched center channel is a system that sounds like a mismatched center channel. The HTM2D is how you avoid that conversation entirely. $5,000 MSRP Due to size and weight, this item is listed as Store Pick Up Only. Phone: 888-248-3246 Email: info@echohifi.com Inquire Now
