Design Notes The Detachable Koti: I was inspired to design a piece with the adaptability to interchange silhouettes depending on the mood of the person wearing it, giving the garment a more human touch. I liked the juxtaposition of taking a classic jacket shape and modernizing the construction through lace-up detailing inspired by utility and restraint. I wanted the piece to feel structured and controlled while still carrying a sense of tension. The cropped silhouette, rope lacing across both shoulders, reinforced matte black hardware, and extended cuff detailing give the garment a heavier industrial presence despite its minimal form. The contrast between the clean body construction and aggressive hardware placement was intentional — balancing refinement with disruption throughout the piece. Made in Europe.
