Summer Wine Tasting and Barbecue - Friday 12th June

Friday 12th June Start Time: 7pm Finish: 10pm Join us for a relaxed and sociable summer evening of wine tasting, delicious food, and great company. This informal walk-around tasting gives you the opportunity to sample at least 20 wines from a range of regions, grape varieties, and styles — from crisp summer whites and refreshing rosés to vibrant reds perfect for barbecue season. Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply looking to discover a few new favourites, this evening is designed to be approachable, enjoyable, and completely informal. Taste at your own pace, compare notes with fellow wine lovers, and soak up the relaxed atmosphere. George and Mark will be on hand throughout the evening to chat about the wines, offer recommendations, and answer any questions — but there’s no formal structure, no tasting experience required, and absolutely no pressure. Simply explore the wines that catch your eye… which may well turn out to be all of them. Alongside the tasting, we’ll be serving a delicious summer barbecue featuring freshly prepared seasonal dishes designed to pair beautifully with the wines on offer. With just 50 tickets available, early booking is strongly recommended. And in true British summer fashion, we remain cautiously optimistic that the weather will cooperate.
