wake up, it's back to school season!! 🗣️ so you've learned how to play mahjong, now what? it's time to learn points. this brand new Intro series is one of our top community requests: join us for a night of introductory 3-point minimum hong kong mahjong — in partnership with Welcome to Chinatown 🀄️ Intro to Points is a dedicated learning environment for advanced Hong Kong mahjong players who are experienced with chicken hands and are ready to level up into the points system. ‼️ do not purchase if you're a complete beginner ‼️ the night will begin with a dedicated 1-hour points lesson taught in groups of six. your gtsc teacher will run you through the complete Hong Kong points system — from basic 3-point minimum hands, to special and limit hands, faan to chip conversions, and advanced strategies. then, stay to exercise your new playing chops until we get kicked out at 10 pm.
