King Caesar — Big Sur

Inspired by the legendary guardian lion-dogs of Okinawa, King Caesar is a powerful, lion-like kaiju who first appeared in the 1974 film Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla. Known for his fierce loyalty, formidable strength, and ability to reflect energy attacks, King Caesar is an ancient protector who fights alongside Godzilla against invading threats. In this original woodcut, the mighty guardian stands watch over California’s dramatic Big Sur coastline, surrounded by rugged cliffs, windswept cypress trees, and the Pacific Ocean.
