Hand-Painted Stoneware Fish Bowl
A beautifully thrown hand-painted stoneware bowl featuring a fish design surrounded by leaves and geometric patterns. Perfect as a decorative bowl on a kitchen island, dining table or open shelving. The bowl has a gently flared shape, a raised foot and a warm cream glaze decorated in earthy charcoal and brown tones. Repeating diamond patterns, bold leaves and hand-drawn lines cover both the inside and outside, with a darker glazed rim framing the whole piece. The slightly irregular finish and variations in the decoration give it a lovely handmade feel. Possibly attributed to Keith R. Gilbert a British studio potter working in Hastings, East Sussex, during the 1970s and early 1980s. H:7cm Dia:15cm
