Original 1940's Black Wool Snood from Bergdorf Goodman The Plaza New York

This hat is so much better in read life that the photographs show! Made in the 1940's and labelled 'Irene Boutique' the hat is made from black wool. It features a pleated from band which goes at the front of your head and is wired to help keep the shape. The back has a large snood which is gathered into a band. A fabulous design! Measurements Because of the design of the piece it will suit any size head. Side to side across the top front 16" Front to back 15" Condition Very good, appears to have been little worn.
