Loui’s Denim Dungarees | Worn by Loui

WHY CHOOSE THIS PRODUCT Let the outfit fit the occasion, and the dog. Adjustable straps help refine a fit; they cannot make an undersized body panel comfortable. Measure first, then check sitting, breathing and bathroom access during a short trial at home. These overalls are a wardrobe choice and should be left off if dressing requires painful handling or interferes with prescribed rest. What to check before choosing a size Style Blue denim dungarees with adjustable shoulder straps. Fit Use your dog’s measurements rather than choosing from the breed name alone. Movement Check that the shoulders and front legs can move freely and that the straps do not pull across the body. Bathroom access Make sure the lower-body cut leaves comfortable clearance for normal toileting. FIT AND EVERYDAY USE Try them briefly at home before the first outing Check sitting, walking, breathing and toileting before leaving the house. If your dog uses a harness or wheelchair, keep fabric and seams clear of straps, frames and support points. Clothing should never make handling harder during a painful IVDD episode or prescribed rest period. From Loui’s own wardrobeWe used this denim dungaree style with Loui, including with his wheelchair. Keep any fabric clear of mobility-equipment straps and contact points, and leave the outfit off whenever dressing causes discomfort or unnecessary handling.
