Evan’s Bar Mitzvah Project

For my mitzvah project, I chose Magen David Adom, which is an Israeli version of the Red Cross, which, if you don’t know what that is, is disaster relief for people in countries. The reason I chose Magen David Adom is that my great-grandfather, according to my mom, was very involved with Magen David Adom. For my mitzvah project, I will donate as many life-saving trauma kits as possible to the AFMDA, which is a cool and meaningful way to give back to Israel. One pack is $360; hopefully, we, together as a community we can come together and raise enough money to pay for enough emergency packs to save a couple of people’s lives.
