Ferrofish VERTOpro MX – Dual MADI to Dante Converter & Router

The Ferrofish VERTOpro MX bridges MADI and Dante and takes the original VERTO MX concept much further. Two MADI SFP interfaces can run as two independent streams for up to 128 x 128 MADI channels at 48 kHz, as a redundant MADI connection, or with MADI-to-MADI routing. The Dante interface provides up to 64 x 64 channels at 48 kHz with switched or redundant network operation and AES67 compatibility. Everything is configurable from the front panel. The 3-inch IPS colour display gives direct access to metering, routing, clocking and device configuration, and the internal single-channel routing matrix routes signals freely between Dante, MADI 1 and MADI 2 in groups of eight or per channel. Each MADI port supports 64-channel and 56-channel modes. Two Ferrofish multimode MADI SFP modules and an LC/SC cable are included, with singlemode (up to 10 km) and coax (up to 100 m) modules available as alternatives. Eight presets, a device lock, headphone monitoring, word clock I/O and RemoteFish control via USB-C or MIDI make it suited to broadcast, live, post-production and installed systems.
