Using 33 kHz acoustic time-of-flight technology, it measures distance, level, or volume over ranges up to 20,000 mm without direct contact with the monitored material. The transmitter provides a 4-20 mA analog output with 0.01 mA resolution and NAMUR NE43 compatibility for industrial signal reliability. It can also be configured with a PNP or NPN digital output for alarm activation, allowing the TU2000 to support level monitoring, process indication, and alarm applications from a single device. Bluetooth Configuration The TU2000 is configured through NOVUS SigNow software for Windows PCs or the SigNow mobile app for Android and iOS using Bluetooth Low Energy communication. SigNow allows users to configure the analog output, set up the digital alarm output, create custom tank profiles, run diagnostics, analyze echo behavior, adjust sensitivity and threshold settings, and update firmware. Flexible Tank Setup The TU2000 supports standard tank shapes including vertical cylindrical, horizontal cylindrical, and rectangular tanks. For tanks with curved shapes, elevations, or other irregularities, the transmitter offers custom linearization with up to 20 points to improve volume measurement accuracy. Industrial Construction The IP67-rated UL94 polycarbonate housing is built for continuous use in industrial environments, including dusty areas and locations exposed to water jets. Integrated temperature compensation helps maintain stable readings during ambient temperature changes, and the four front LEDs provide quick status indication for the device, analog output, digital output, and Bluetooth connection.
