Rickety Bridge Regna Loca Semillon 2025

Regna Loca range celebrates the relationship between South Africa’s finest wine regions and the cultivars best suited to their unique climates. The Franschhoek Semillon comes from old vines, some nearly a century old, producing a rich yet elegant wine with layers of herbal character and a wonderful sense of place. A layered and expressive nose, showing aromas of lemon peel, preserved citrus, white stone fruit and delicate notes of dried herbs. The palate is textured and creamy, yet finely balanced by bright natural acidity, bringing precision and freshness to the wine. Subtle savoury undertones and a mineral edge lead to a long, poised finish, highlighting both the wine’s versatility and ageing potential. The grapes, including the Sémillon Gris component, were 100% whole-bunch pressed before natural settling.
