Matisse Print Souvenir d'Oceanie in Oak Frame
A framed print of Souvenir d’Océanie (Memories of the Sea) by Henri Matisse. From 1950, Matisse created some colourful paper collages and in 1954 these were reinterpreted as lithographs. Souvenir d’Océanie was inspired by Matisse’s memories of trip to Tahiti and possibly from a photograph of a sailing boat that he took through his window.
