Originally adapted from Japanese rice farming footwear, they are foldable, lightweight and durable. The boots have subsequently found avid fans among festival goers, gardeners, dog walkers, and anyone affected by a sudden rainstorm. Made in natural rubber to WBSJ’s specifications, the boots can be folded and placed in their accompanying carry case for easy transit. They can also be folded down and worn at varying heights according to your style and taste. Wild Bird Society of Japan is a nonprofit organization founded in 1934 in Tokyo. The goals of WBSJ are conservation of endangered birds and plants, expansion of the bird sanctuary, and educating people on creating environments where nature and culture can co-exist.
