The Astrology of Midlife

"What the actual F*ck??" I found myself asking this over and over, pretty much for the past 10 years or so. Astrology helped me to see, specifically, what the actual f*ck was going. Knowing didn't necessarily make what was happening less intense. But it helped me trust that there was a curriculum to my life, and that, my goodness... I was learning it. I see midlife as having two distinct transformative phases: The Undoing (approximately ages 36-46) Where everything can feel like it's falling apart. You may feel like you don't know who you are anymore, or what you are for. The Return to Self (approximately ages 47-63) You start reclaiming your power, agency, self-expression, desire, and sense of what is actually yours. You begin creating a life that feels more like your life. While these transits will be acting on different parts of your individual chart, themes of power, agency and self-expression will be activated for everyone. If you're already in it, you know how intense it can feel. So what is actually happening during midlife? In this 90-minute class, I'll walk you through the major astrological cycles that shape this passage of life — and the two distinct phases within it. You'll get a bigger-picture view of why midlife can feel so disorienting, intense, liberating, grief-filled, expansive, and completely fucking necessary. And more importantly, you'll have a framework for understanding where you are in the process. This isn't about predicting your future. It's about understanding the terrain you're already in. And if you want to go deeper... The Astrology of Midlife class is also included when you join my Midlife Mystery four-part series. In those sessions, we'll move beyond the astrological map and into the lived experience of this Autumn season of midlife — exploring themes like grief, power, agency, identity, desire, and the reclamation of the self. The astrology class is like a map. The deeper work will be learning how to walk the land of this new territory.
