A characterful vintage wine rack with a beautifully layered finish in muted Cactus green, warm oxblood undertones and aged original hardware. This one-of-a-kind piece has been given a new lease of life at Upcycled by Nicci, retaining its traditional shape and distinctive bottle-storage design while embracing a relaxed, rustic aesthetic. The soft, earthy green is full of depth, with glimpses of rich Apothecary showing through the textured finish. Finished with clear wax and subtle brown wax ageing, the surface has a lovely warm, soft quality, with variations in colour and texture that give the piece its individual personality. The original decorative drawer handles have been retained, with small WUB details added behind them to complement the aged finish. Two spacious drawers provide useful concealed storage, while the open shelving below offers plenty of possibilities. Naturally suited to wine storage, each of the two bottle racks accommodates up to 10 bottles. But this piece needn't be limited to the dining room. Its generous sideboard proportions and open shelving also make it an interesting option for a hallway, where it could accommodate smaller shoes, with the drawers keeping keys, gloves and everyday essentials close to hand.
