Matchbox Lesney 9c AEC Merryweather Fire Truck C Style Repro Box
A Matchbox Lesney 9c AEC Merryweather Fire Truck C Style Repro Box. This box is identified on the end flap as a ‘Fire Escape’ but I think this was an error in the Lesney production, as the early 9a/b model was the Dennis Fire Escape. This C style box features the same artwork as the earlier B style. Only the logo was changed to present Lesney as it’s own business no longer tied to Moko.
