Gerald Field served as dean of St John’s Cathedral, Cashel, and as secretary of the Liturgical Advisory Committee of the Church of Ireland. Tom Gillen, a long-standing member of the Irish Biblical Association, has served as its treasurer Benedict Hegarty, O.P., taught Scripture at the Dominican studium, at the Mater Dei Institute, at Clonliffe College, working also in parish ministry, in hospital chaplaincy and in directing a retreat house. Martin Hogan is author, most recently, of The Kingdom of God Is Close at Hand and of The Sower Sows the Word (both ANC Church Resources). Columba McCann, O.S.B., is a monk of Glenstal Abbey. Céline Mangan, O.P., lectured in Scripture at the Milltown Institute, Dublin, and An Táirseach Ecology Centre, Wicklow. Kieran O’Mahony, O.S.A., lectured in Scripture at the Milltown Institute and was founder of the Tarsus Scripture School. Bernard Treacy, O.P., is editor of Conversations. Mary Troy lectured in Scripture at the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology. Valerie Warren studies Scripture as a way to ‘reverence the Lord Christ’.
