POWRIG D-Tap to BP-U Dummy Battery Power Cable

Uninterrupted Cinema Power for Demanding Productions Designed for professional cinematographers, broadcast operators, and documentary shooters, the POWRIG D-Tap to BP-U Dummy Battery Power Cable delivers seamless, continuous power to your Sony cinema cameras and broadcast camcorders directly from standard V-Mount or Gold-Mount cinema batteries. Featuring an integrated, fully decoded BP-U battery adapter, this cable eliminates unexpected shutdown risks, battery error prompts, and power-meter inaccuracies. By replacing standard Sony BP-U30, BP-U35, BP-U60, and BP-U90 packs, it enables all-day shooting on studio rigs, gimbals, and shoulder mounts without swapping internal batteries. Available in both a streamlined 90cm (35.4") straight cable for clean cage cable management and a flexible 30–120cm (11.8"–47.2") coiled cable for dynamic gimbal/slider setups. Key Features Fully Decoded BP-U Emulation: 100% compatible with Sony’s camera power handshakes. Displays accurate voltage/power status with zero system error warnings or startup blocks. Direct 14.8V High-Current Power: Connects directly from any standard D-Tap / P-Tap output port (11V – 18.4V input, nominal 14.8V output) on V-Mount and Gold-Mount battery plates. Two Rig-Optimized Configurations: Straight Cable (90cm / 35.4"): Ideal for fixed studio rigs, tripod-mounted teleprompter setups, and organized shoulder rigs. Coiled Cable (30–120cm / 11.8"–47.2"): Tangle-resistant flexibility for motorized gimbals, sliders, and handheld run-and-gun rigs. Reinforced Strain Relief & Right-Angle D-Tap: Heavy-duty overmolded right-angle D-Tap plug prevents accidental snagging and reduces mechanical stress on battery plate ports. Filmmaker-Grade Build Quality: Built with flame-retardant ABS dummy casing, precision gold-plated battery contact terminals, and flexible, wear-resistant PVC/TPU cabling.
