Dark Romance

Dark Romance is a light sculpture that draws on Art Nouveau and pushes it toward a more radical register. A textured aluminium structure recalls the world of machines, and organic vegetation grows across it, changing how we read the metal beneath. The piece plays on opposites: softness against brutality, growth against rigour, fine detail against raw mass. The result recalls the Art Nouveau fusion of nature and industry, seen through a darker, contemporary lens, and works both as a source of light and as a sculpture in its own right.
