4" Sq. x 1/4" Galvanized Steel Plate for Plated Posts Fences

If you have a post that can't be put in the ground and needs to bolt onto concrete or something else, then you need a plate for that post! These plates don't always have to be at the bottom; some have used them to mount posts into a concrete or brick wall! For non-vinyl applications, these posts can be welded with the posts centered or offset (flush to one side)! Holes are 1/2" wide. This 4" sq. plate is primarily meant to be used for vinyl fence plated posts since the vinyl posts can sleeve over them; but also have some applications in chain link and ornamental steel/iron fences! Vinyl For vinyl fences, these plates can hold up to 2" inner posts, and you would use this in tandem with two support brackets inside the vinyl to hold it firm to the vinyl post (4": 7WI-DSB-4X4, 5": 7WI-DSB-5X5). Chain Link These sized plates can only support up to 2" O.D. for chain link posts. For O.D.s up to 4" use a 6" sq. plate (20090). Ornamental Steel/Iron These sized plates can only support up to 2" sq. ornamental steel/iron posts. For 2-1/2", 3" or 4" use a 6" sq. plate (20090).
