Knit Your Own Wire Earrings - Nov 3rd, 10th, 17th 2 - 4.30pm GMT

Knit Your Own Earrings in silver, gold plated or coloured wire. You will begin by knitting leaf earrings to get used to knitting with wire. You will then move onto knit lace diamond earrings and then edge them with pearls in a colour of your choice. A kit is included with this class. Join me to learn knitting with wire and make your own earrings. You will be sent a personalised kit which includes all materials needed including 4 pair sterling silver or gold plate earwires, crimps, coloured wire, silver wire or gold plated wire and 1 string of freshwater pearls in a colour of your choice. Patterns and instructions are included to make 2 types of knit wire earrings; Leaf Lace Earrings and Lace Diamond Earrings. To take part in this class you should be able to cast on and knit. All other techniques will be taught. Week 1 we will practice knitting with wire and knit several leaves before choosing a pair to make into earrings. You will have a finished pair of leaf earrings by the end of this session. Week 2 we will start knitting the Diamond shapes earrings. We will make a start to adding pearls around the edge. Week 3 we will attach the pearls around the edge and finish the earrings. If the scheduled dates for this course don't suit you please contact me so we can arrange convenient dates and times for you.
