USGI Modular Sleeping Bag Intermediate Cold Weather - Long Color: Foliage Green The genuine U.S. Military Issue (USGI) Intermediate Cold Weather Sleeping Bag is a core component of the improved Modular Sleep System (MSS). Designed for standalone use in cool to freezing environments, it also integrates seamlessly inside the U.S. Army ACU/Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP) configuration. When snapped inside the lightweight patrol bag and enclosed in the waterproof Gore-Tex bivy cover, it forms a complete, extreme cold-weather environmental system. Performance & Specifications: Temperature Rating: Independently rated down to 30°F to -10°F (-1°C to -23°C) when used standalone with appropriate cold-weather clothing layers. Material Construction: Outer Shell: Water-resistant, ripstop nylon shell built to withstand rugged field conditions. Insulation: High-loft, continuous-filament polyester insulation (Polargard® HV) that retains heat even when damp or compressed. Dimensions (Regular): Approximately 81" long by 34" wide at the shoulders, tapering down at the feet. Weight: Approximately 4.0 lbs.
