Step 1: Locate studs using stud finder (stud installation is recommended). Step 2: Using a drill bit, pre-drill holes through the mounting bracket and into the wall. If no studs were located in Step 1, you would need to install provided wall anchors. No wall anchors are needed if studs are present. Step 3: Attach Part B (SUPPORT) to the wall using provided screws “Part C (SCREWS),” if preferred by the installer, other screws can be used. Make sure it is leveled. Step 4: Place Part A (MANTEL) on the support. If preferred by the installer, the mantel can be screwed from the above or glued from the inside to the support.
