The Brawler Puffies take everything that makes the Brawler feel solid and dependable, then smooth the edges off the sound when the music calls for a softer touch. Available in four graduated sizes, the Puffies produce a full, warm tone with reduced attack and a broad sound that blends easily across the ensemble. Each head is wrapped in an ultra-durable bonded sherpa fabric built to withstand demanding rehearsal schedules while maintaining a smooth, consistent sound. When the wrap finally does wear down, it can be rewrapped instead of replaced, keeping the mallet in service season after season. Like the Brawler, each head is glued in place and secured with a rust-resistant screw through the top for maximum durability. The American Hickory handle features the same comfortable grip profile and fulcrum taper as the Brawler, with balanced rear weight to keep the larger head feeling stable and controlled in the hand. From soft legato passages to exposed ballad moments, the Puffies are built to bring warmth, blend, and consistency to the entire bass line.
