Ladakh Pilgrimage Children Fund, 4 to 11 Jul 2026

As part of our upcoming Ladakh Spiritual & Scenic Journey (4–11 July 2026), the Maha Tare Buddhist Centre warmly invites you to participate in a meaningful charitable initiative to support children in the remote Himalayan region of Ladakh. Through this sponsorship project, we hope to provide a complete set of essential clothing — including tops, bottoms, socks, shoes, and school bags — for 500 children from three schools within the Tibetan Children’s Village in the nomadic Jangthang region of Ladakh. Situated at a high altitude with harsh and unpredictable weather conditions throughout most of the year, the region experiences long and severe winters, with only a short warmer season. Proper clothing is therefore not merely a comfort, but a basic necessity for these children. Sponsorship Amount: SGD 50 per child (full set) The Maha Tare pilgrimage contingent will personally present these offerings during our journey to Ladakh.
