The Surface Bed Frame is a quiet, grounded design inspired by traditional Japanese beds and handcrafted in Denmark. Defined by its low, linear silhouette and warm natural veneers, it brings a sense of calm and simplicity to the bedroom through thoughtful proportions and tactile materials. Resting close to the floor, the frame creates a serene and understated presence while maintaining a precise, refined expression. Designed in Copenhagen and treated with natural hardwax oil, the bed frame is built for everyday use with minimal maintenance required. It features easy assembly and includes 18 mm bed slats, which can be removed to accommodate different mattress setups. The mattress shown in the images has a height of approximately 10 cm.
