Vintage Butterfly Ring

Simply darling vintage ring built around a tiny gold butterfly. It's Italian, made circa 1970s, utterly after the Arts and Crafts tradition - by which I mean it's been hand-crafted around the butterfly, with coils of gold wire forming the shoulders and an asymmetrical wire 'frame' around the bug. Truly one-of-a-kind, and it's crafted in rich 18 carat gold; one of those '70s Italian alloys that radiates a sunshine yellow tone. Perfection. Era: Vintage, circa 1970 Ring size: I or 4.25 US.
