Citizen (Rhythm) x Sanrio “Hello Kitty M766” Magic Motion Musical Wall Clock from Japan with Moving Animation - 4MH766-013
"Hello Kitty M766" is an iconic Citizen musical motion clock sold exclusively in Japan alongside countless other Sanrio and Hello Kitty-themed timepieces designed and produced by Rhythm. After its release in 2000, this charming clock became a best seller and different variations of it would continue to be produced for nearly 20 years. At the top of the hour, Hello Kitty's colorful trains begin to rotate around the dial as one of 12 children's songs play. The cute animals underneath the hands on the dial sway back and forth continuously. Notes: This is one of the original production pieces produced around 2000, making this one of the oldest variations of this design. You can definitely tell by looking at the frame that it has been well loved as there are a number of marks, as highlighted in the photos. There is also a very small hairline crack on the left side. I installed a brand-new timekeeping movement and cleaned the clock inside and out to restore it as best as I could. It is also missing the battery cover, but it does not affect functionality in any way. Song list: Omocha No Cha Cha Cha (Toys Go Cha Cha Cha) Do-Re-Mi The Other Day, I Met a Bear I Am A Fine Musician (Ich bin ein Musikante) I Lost The C Of My Clarinet (J'ai perdu le do de ma clarinette) My Grandfather's Clock Choo-Choo Train (Kisha Poppo) The Five Little Pigs and the Charleston (Gohiki no Kobuta to Charleston) The Dog Policeman (Inu no Omawarisan) Theme from "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" The Rolling Acorn (Donguri Korokoro) Buzz, Buzz, Buzz (Summ, Summ, Summ) Features: 12 melodies in an electronic sound Moving trains around outer dial Swinging decorative pendulum Demonstration button Volume control On/off switch to turn hourly music on or off Light sensor that turns off music when the room is dark Requires 2 AA and 2 D-cell alkaline batteries (not included)
