If you do not already have a battery or charger, please make sure that you add these to your basket. The TSA 230.1 is a 9” (230 mm) battery-powered cut-off machine in the STIHL AP System. It’s exceptionally easy to handle thanks to its compact and well-balanced design and is designed for professionals working in construction, hardscaping and pipework – making it an ideal choice for making short cuts on paving stones, brickwork and steel. The TSA 230.1 has improved cutting performance compared to the TSA 230.0 model, with a higher power output of 2.1 kW and faster overall cutting speed. This extends the types of jobs and applications the cut-of machine can carry out. The cut-off machine comes as standard with a powerful 9” / 230 mm composite resin cutting wheel which has a very high cutting performance, however we recommend fitting the TSA 230.1 with a D-SB80 diamond cutting wheel for longer and more intensive jobs. As the TSA 230.1 is battery-powered, it has low noise emissions during cutting. It is fitted with a powerful low-maintenance EC motor which operates almost wear-free, is quiet and has smooth running and low vibrations – it also ensures the tool operates at optimum performance throughout the entire battery charge. Thanks to its emission-free operation, the TSA 230.1 can be used inside buildings. The integrated water connection is easy to set-up too. A fixed magnesium guard has an integrated water guide and is reinforced by stainless steel, providing a clear view of the cutting wheel during use. An integrated spindle lock makes for quick and easy changing of the cutting wheel – simply press the spindle lock, loosen the retaining screw and then tighten it again. The TSA 230.1 must be used with the AP 300 S battery for maximum performance. If you use an AP 200 S, there will be a reduction in performance. On a full charge with the AP 300 S, the TSA 230.1 has a working time of 20 minutes.
