PECANKA - scarf

Pećanka is a silk scarf dedicated to the women of Peć and Metohija and the spiritual heritage of the Peć Patriarchate, whose history begins in 1220. On the silk satin, through warm earthy tones and motifs of the folk costume of the Peć region, the Prokletije, the Rugova Gorge, the Metropolitan Church and the Peć Patriarchate are depicted - symbols of faith, roots and dignity. This scarf is worn as a gentle, but strong sign of homeland. Made of silk satin, measuring 60 × 60 cm, it is gentle enough for the neck, hair or bag handle, and strong enough to carry the story of a people.
