Not suitable for solid fuel cookers. This chef pad has in a lovely background in a textured dark blue print with white & blue folk flower print designed by Asta Barrington, surrounded by a contrast blue binding. This hob cover has cream towelling on the back which is absorbent, soft and harmless to Aga chrome lids. The towelling also provides great insulation keeping heat in your cooker and not your kitchen. Asta Barrington studied at London’s prestigious Royal College of Art and now lives and works in the beautiful city of Bath, England. Her designs are inspired by a passion for colour and Folk art, flea market finds, paper ephemera and world textiles. Care/Use Instructions Always ensure cover does not contact hot plate or become trapped between lid/hotplate. Hot items placed on pads can cause scorching. Although it has a handy hanging loop we don't advise leaving your chef pads unattended on hot lids for prolonged periods of time. All natural fibres products will shrink slightly when washed. However, washing our cotton textiles at excessively hot temperatures will cause more shrinkage than usual due to the towelling/print fabric differences. Machine Wash 40. Do Not Tumble.
